Prisoner of War Camps in Britain
Most of you visit me for this book Convicted for Courage. It pulls together stories told to me, Kevin Murphy, by over 50 people, backed up with almost 5,000 files of research. These are still being gathered since first interviewing Italian, German, and Ukrainian ex POWs on video, in 1989.
The fifth edition of 2023 now has over 100 photographs.
D-Day 80 years: Georg Rasp 'the first German POW' (of the big invasion) was captured/surrendered on his 18th birthday - so he remembered the date, 6th June 1944. I retell his story.
